IPIAAM has initiated a technical investigation into the incident that cccurred on April 17th, 2025, involving a Beechcraft King Air 360ER aircraft, registration D4-CCL, operating on behalf of the State of Cabo Verde. This investigation is being conducted in accordance with Decree-Law No. 6/2023 of January 23rd, and in line with the recommendations of Annex 13 of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It is a purely preventive investigation and does not aim to assign blame or liability.
The aircraft in question was acquired by the Government of Cabo Verde to fulfill key state functions, such as patrol missions and medical evacuations. |
